Job summary

Torch Technologies, Inc. in Huntsville, AL, seeks a Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Systems Engineer/Analyst to support the Air & Missile Business Unit.

Ideal candidates have a degree in engineering/CS/physics, data analysis experience, and programming in Python, MATLAB, C++, and/or Java; radar data experience is a plus. The role involves data extraction, processing, and analysis to high-fidelity models and simulations, providing M&S support for testing events, and developing data-reduction tools.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS/Engineering, Physics or Math; Masters/PhD preferred.
• 8 years of experience in data extraction, processing, plotting and analysis.
• Proficient in Python, MATLAB; programming in C++ or Java; Windows/Linux experience.
• Active current Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform data extraction, processing, investigation, analysis and comparison of system data to high-fidelity models and simulations data of Army ground-based radars and effects models for the radars.
• Provide M&S analytical support for testing events and offer feedback to customers when needed.
• Develop and maintain data reduction and analysis tools; participate in technical interchange meetings, program reviews, integration and test working groups; prepare analyses and reports.
