Job summary

Raytheon, a leader in defense and aerospace, is seeking Systems Engineers in the Space & Airborne Systems center to support the Life Cycle Engineering department. The role focuses on depot integration of hardware and software, test planning, and data-driven engineering decisions in an onsite El Segundo, CA position with travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) required.
• 2 years’ experience in system integration, verification and validation (IV&V).
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Support RSIL integration, verification and validation activities and troubleshoot issues.
• Diagnose failures via data analysis, root-cause investigation, and corrective actions.
• Create performance evaluations using MATLAB and SQL-based analytics.
• Deliver concise technical findings to IPTLs and stakeholders.
• Coordinate hardware test, troubleshoot, sustainment, and depot returns.
• Refine system architectures and maintain engineering specifications.
• Develop Python scripts to analyze data and automate workflows.
