Job summary
Echodyne seeks a Principal PCB/A Materials & Process Engineer to advance PCB materials, stackups, and fabrication processes for RF/high-speed radar products. You will partner with design, program management, operations, and suppliers to ensure scalable, reliable manufacturing from NPI through volume production.
You will guide supplier development, drive manufacturability improvements, and help translate complex RF requirements into producible PCBA designs and processes.
Qualifications
- Expertise in PCB materials and fabrication processes for RF/high-speed/mixed-signal designs.
- Experience with PCB fabricators, material suppliers, and electronics manufacturing suppliers.
- Ability to evaluate designs, docs, and manufacturing tradeoffs to prioritise activities.
Responsibilities
- Serve as technical authority for PCB materials, stackups, and manufacturability tradeoffs.
- Collaborate with design, program management, operations, and suppliers during NPI to align requirements with capabilities.
- Lead engagement with PCB fabricators and suppliers to assess materials and processes and resolve gaps.
- Support supplier qualification, production readiness, yield improvement, and root-cause analysis before release.
- Provide design/process guidance to improve manufacturability, reliability, and cost.
