Job summary

Technovative Applications seeks an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join its radar systems team in the U.S. You will optimize C/C++ code for real-time, resource-constrained embedded hardware and develop Linux device drivers for custom interfaces.

The role involves collaborating with RF, FPGA, and systems engineers on requirements and timing budgets, and contributing across the full software lifecycle in a demanding, onsite environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of embedded software experience.
• Expert-level C/C++ proficiency.
• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain Secret clearance.
• Willingness to work onsite five days per week.

Responsibilities

• Optimize C/C++ code for performance and deterministic realtime behavior on embedded hardware.
• Develop high-level algorithms for signal processing, data reduction, and control logic.
• Design and implement multi-threaded software for real-time data processing pipelines.
• Develop, debug, and maintain Linux device drivers for custom hardware interfaces.
• Develop embedded software for RTOS or bare-metal environments.
• Collaborate with RF, FPGA, and systems engineers to define software requirements.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle including testing and validation.
• Debug timing-sensitive issues at the hardware/software boundary (interrupts, DMA).
