Job summary

Actalent is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain secure, automated pipelines for radar software in regulated environments. You will modernize legacy processes, integrate security across the CI/CD lifecycle, and support deployments to classified UEWR and PARCS sites.

You will work with Bamboo, GitLab CI, Bitbucket/Git, Ansible, Terraform, Docker/Podman, and Kubernetes on Linux and Windows, liaising with cross-functional teams to ensure secure builds, tests, and releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Active Secret clearance.
• Hands-on experience with Bamboo and GitLab CI.
• Experience with Bitbucket or Git and branching/baseline strategies.
• Strong Linux and Windows administration skills.
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Experience integrating security tools (SAST/DAST/SCA/STIG/ACAS).
• Experience in DoD/classified environments.
• Ability to design/maintain CI/CD pipelines for complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for radar software releases.
• Manage source control and branching strategies.
• Develop IaC/IaC using Ansible and Terraform for Linux/Windows environments.
• Integrate security scanning into pipelines and remediate findings.
• Support test automation and integrate automated testing in build/releases.
• Package releases and support change requests and CCB activities.
• Support deployment to classified UEWR and PARCS sites.
• Modernize legacy build/deploy processes for large radar architectures.
• Collaborate across development, test, security, and operations teams.
