Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Test Engineer in Colorado Springs for a hybrid contract-to-hire role. You will develop, prepare, and execute comprehensive test plans for subsystem and enterprise-level systems, and support system integration testing.

You must have a bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience, an active Secret clearance, and hands-on experience with Agile, Jira/Confluence, DOORS, CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, and scripting. Some on-site base work may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and over 5 years of relevant experience.
• Active Secret Clearance.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
• Experience using Jira and Confluence.
• Proficiency in using requirements management tools such as DOORS.
• Experience with Automated and Manual Testing, CI/CD Pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment environments and tools such as Bamboo.
• Experience with version control tools such as Bitbucket.
• Experience with UNIX operating systems.
• Experience sustaining UEWR and/or PARCS ground-based radar systems.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Korn Shell, Bourne Shell, Python, Perl, bash, tcl, etc.

Responsibilities

• Develop, prepare, and execute comprehensive subsystem and enterprise-level test plans and procedures.
• Support system and element-level test planning and test readiness reviews.
• Document test requirements and methodologies in the requirements management system.
• Support the development of system integration plans, procedures, and scenarios for software and hardware system integration testing.
• Create innovative Test Automation solutions and support software development teams focused on DevSecOps solutions.
