Job summary

Leidos Defense seeks a DevSecOps Engineer to design, build, and harden CI/CD and deployment infra for advanced sensor and mission systems. Ideal candidates automate security testing (SAST/DAST) and optimize pipelines, while growing into broader system-level deployment roles.

Candidates should have 2+ years in DevSecOps, strong Linux expertise, and experience with Docker/Podman, Python, and IaC tools. DoD clearance eligibility and US Citizenship are required.

Qualifications

ABET-accredited degree required.
2+ years in DevSecOps or related roles focusing on infra and pipelines.
Strong experience building and securing CI/CD pipelines in Linux environments.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for C++ applications.
Integrate SAST/DAST and container scanning into the development lifecycle.
Automate infrastructure provisioning with IaC (Ansible, Terraform).
Collaborate with software, systems, and hardware engineers to optimize build times and deployment reliability.
Support software integration and deployment in HWIL environments.
Enforce cybersecurity compliance (e.g., DISA STIGs) across development and runtime environments.
