Job summary

DRS RADA Technologies, a subsidiary of Leonardo DRS, is seeking an on-site Systems Engineer – DevOps in Germantown, Maryland. The role focuses on developing and enhancing CI/CD pipelines for software-defined radar systems and managing HWIL test assets in an air-gapped environment.

Collaboration across teams will support rapid software integration and testing. The candidate should have experience with Jenkins pipelines, Groovy scripting, and containerization (Docker, Proxmox, EXXi), and hold a

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Up to 2 years of experience with Python, C, C++, Rust, Bash, Powershell.
• Up to 2 years of experience managing server infrastructure and configurations.
• Experience with Jenkins pipelines and Groovy scripting.
• Experience with virtual machines and containerized solutions (Docker, Proxmox, EXXi).
• Git CLI knowledge and branching/merging basics.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins (groovy) for radar software releases.
• Develop and maintain DevOps infrastructure in air-gapped environment.
• Integrate legacy systems with existing test infrastructures.
• Work across many languages/technologies.
• Provide regular reporting on progress and status.
• Ensure tasks are completed on time and meet requirements.
• Communicate with customers and team members as required.
• Attend meetings as needed.
