Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• 5+ years engineering experience; senior candidates 10+ years.
• Active DoD security clearance or ability to obtain.
• Experience in radar systems, Aegis, naval fire-control, missile-defense, DSP, sensor integration, or TB&E.
• Radar fundamentals, waveform processing, detection, tracking, clutter, beam steering, SNR, accuracy.
• Ability to communicate complex technical problems to stakeholders.
• Experience producing professional technical reports or test documentation.
• U.S. citizenship; no sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering activities involving AN/SPY radar technologies (SPY-1/6/7).
• Evaluate Mk 99 Fire Control System and AN/SPG-62 performance for Standard Missile engagements.
• Analyze radar signal-processing functions (detection, filtering, Doppler, beamforming).
• Assess interfaces among radar, C2, weapon-control, fire-control, and missile systems.
• Develop models, simulations, algorithms to evaluate system behavior.
• Analyze test and fleet data to identify trends, anomalies, root causes.
• Support system integration, verification, validation, and formal tests.
• Prepare technical reports, briefings, and recommendations for government.
