Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services in inpatient, outpatient, ER, fluoroscopy, portables, and OR settings. Work schedule Mon–Thu, 8am–4:30pm with rotational call and holidays.

You will prepare and position patients, perform fluoroscopic procedures, and assist licensed practitioners while ensuring safety and ALARA compliance. Join a compassionate team delivering exceptional care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiography Program (required).
• Certification required within 6 months of graduation from an accredited Radiology Program (required).
• Associate degree in Radiography (preferred).
• Minimum of 1 year of diagnostic radiology experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for diagnostic and therapeutic radiology procedures.
• Perform radiographic and non-interpretive fluoroscopic procedures, including intraoperative and mobile exams.
• Assist licensed practitioners with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures (e.g., ERCPs, bronchoscopy, mini C-arms, post-reductions).
• Perform mobile imaging, including lines, pacers, and neonatal imaging.
• Ensure proper operation of radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment.
• Monitor equipment performance and arrange for maintenance as needed.
• Apply ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure to patients, staff, and self.
• Comply with all federal and state radiation safety laws and proper use of monitoring devices.
• Contribute to a safe patient environment guided by the principle of “First Do No Harm.”

Licensure & Certifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography - RT(R) (required).
• Applicable state licensure (required).
• Post-graduates must pass ARRT registry within 6 months of completing program (required).
