MUSC Health Black River Medical Center in Cades, SC, seeks a FT Rad Tech to join the radiology team. The multi-modality technologist provides quality imaging and patient care across imaging modalities and must clearly explain procedures to patients to ensure competency in the procedures performed.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology, ARRT registration or within the first 6 months, SC Radiation Quality Standards licensure, and current AHA/ARC BLS

Technologist must be able to effectively explain the procedures to the patient and be sure they are competent in the procedure being performed. Technologist must produce images for the interpretation, and or request of, a licensed practitioner.

• Schedule: Wed/Thurs/Friday 7p-7a


• Education: Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology


• Experience: One year in Radiology preferred, but new graduates welcome!


• License/Certification: Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or obtain within the first 6 months. Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required
