Performs radiographic and CT procedures at a professional level with minimal supervision. The technologist must exercise independent judgment and initiative to ensure quality images and relevant information for diagnosis by the physician.
Responsibilities include documentation and evaluation of clinical performance, performing daily QA on equipment, patient safety, communication, IV insertions, diagnostic imaging, assisting with interventional procedures, administering contrast agents, utilizing imaging workstations and PACS, and maintaining accurate records.
Frequent walking, standing, and lifting (up to 100 pounds with assistance). Normal hearing and vision, ability to read/write in English.
Exposure to biological hazards, radiation, and high-stress situations.
40 hours/week, varied shifts, non-exempt status, located at St. Joseph's Hospital in Buckhannon, WV. Equal Opportunity Employer.
