Job summary

Park District of Highland Park seeks an experienced supervisor to manage Deer Creek Racquet Club operations in Highland Park, IL. This full-time role oversees staff, registrations, budgeting, and front desk activities to ensure smooth daily operations and high member satisfaction.

You will lead a team, coordinate schedules, and report on performance, with a focus on safety, service quality, and facility maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a 4-year accredited college or university.
• 3-5 years of facility management experience.
• At least 1 year of people oversight preferred.
• Experience with recreation management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as manager on duty at Deer Creek Racquet Club; oversee facility operations in the absence of management.
• Recruit, hire, train staff; direct and evaluate performance; approve timecards.
• Open/close DCRC and provide building support; perform walk-throughs for daily operations.
• Initiate Emergency Action Plan as required.
• Manage registrations and daily court sheet scheduling; coordinate court time system.
• Set membership and participation targets and work with staff to reach goals.
• Prepare and administer the budget for the area.
• Oversee front desk operations, POS, and cash handling.
• Communicate with General Manager about facility operations and projects.
• Attend staff, Board meetings and special events.
