Job summary

HireCall in Tulsa, OK is seeking a dependable Racker for a manufacturing facility. You will inspect, count, and organize parts through the coating process while following work instructions and safety procedures.

The role offers on-the-job training, including forklift training, and opportunities to gain manufacturing and industrial coating experience in a fast-paced environment. You will verify part numbers and maintain a clean racking area, collaborating with the Racking Lead to ensure quality

Qualifications

• Basic math, reading and writing skills.
• Ability to follow detailed safety and quality procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and quality inspection ability.
• Good time management and decision-making skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts for damage before coating and report concerns to the Racking Lead.
• Verify part numbers and quantities before and after each process.
• Follow coating travelers and work instructions, including special handling requirements.
• Move large parts to staging areas for coating or surface preparation.
• Transfer and inspect small parts after coating.
• Count, package, and transport small parts to the shipping area for final quality inspection.
• Package large parts directly from the coating line and move them to the shipping area for final inspection.
• Transport designated parts from the e-coat line to the clean room for final curing and coating.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe racking area.
• Follow instructions from the Racking Lead and complete other assigned duties as needed.

This position is responsible for inspecting, handling, counting, and organizing parts throughout the coating process. The ideal candidate will follow work instructions carefully, maintain quality standards, and work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Ongoing training is provided, including on-the-job training, forklift training, and written and verbal instruction.

Manufacturing environment with exposure to dust and airborne material particles. Facility temperatures may become warm or hot during certain times of the year. Some duties may involve chipping or grinding and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
