Job summary

HireCall is seeking a dependable Racker for a manufacturing facility in Tulsa, OK. This position inspects, handles, counts, and organizes parts through the coating process, following work instructions and safety procedures to maintain quality in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers on-the-job training, forklift training, and clear, hands-on guidance. You will collaborate with a diverse team and contribute to timely, accurate packaging and shipping of products.

Qualifications

• Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and established safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to inspect work for quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts for damage or discrepancies before coating and report concerns.
• Verify part numbers and quantities before and after each process.
• Follow coating travelers and work instructions, including special handling requirements.
• Move large parts to staging areas for coating or surface preparation.
• Transfer and inspect small parts after coating.
• Count, package, and transport small parts to the shipping area for final quality inspection.
• Package large parts directly from the coating line and move them to the shipping area for final inspection.
• Transport designated parts from the e-coat line to the clean room for final curing and coating.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe racking area.

Ongoing training is provided, including on-the-job training, forklift training, and written and verbal instruction.

Work Environment

Manufacturing environment with exposure to dust and airborne material particles. Facility temperatures may become warm or hot during certain times of the year. Some duties may involve chipping or grinding and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
