Job summary

Ursus, Inc. seeks a Rack Systems Architect and Technical Lead to own the rack as a product for 150kW-class liquid-cooled deployments, covering architecture, power budget, cooling, interconnect topology, structure, and serviceability.

The role requires steering design tradeoffs and responsible decision-making. You will write interface control documents between rack and facility, lead EE/ME/thermal/integration engineers, and drive reviews to align with accelerator vendor roadmaps and facility

Qualifications

10+ years in rack-scale compute or related HPC/AI infrastructure.
Ownership of rack-level architecture including electrical, mechanical, thermal, and networking.
Experience deploying high-density rack-scale environments for AI training and GPUs.
Experience owning ICDs and boundaries between rack and facility.
Strong understanding of liquid-cooled rack architecture.

Responsibilities

Own the rack as a product for 150kW-class deployments, including budgets and tradeoffs.
Write and maintain ICDs between rack and facility.
Lead EE, ME, thermal, and integration engineers.
Drive design reviews and engineering decision-making.
Align rack roadmap with accelerator vendor roadmaps.
