Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support and repair Walmart Refrigeration HVAC systems at local stores. The role requires hands-on maintenance, adherence to safety policies, and prompt response to emergencies.

Qualified candidates have 2 years of experience, EPA refrigerant certification, a valid driver's license, and a HS diploma. The position includes full-time hours with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal Certification for Refrigerant handling.
• Hold a valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using tools.
• Utilize the work order system to receive repair Work Orders and document activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations per Walmart policies.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, and work at heights.
