Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support and repair refrigeration and HVAC systems at our Somerset store. You will use commercial HVAC/R skills, hand tools, and digital tools to complete jobs and document activities in the system.

Responsibilities include responding to emergencies, inspecting facilities, and ensuring compliance with safety and EPA regulations. The role requires lifting up to 75 pounds and frequent work at heights, with on-site duties at 2028

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• EPA certification for refrigerant handling (Type I/II or universal).
• Valid state driver’s license with clean MVR.
• High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC/R certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets.
• Use the work order system to manage repair requests and document activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete required safety training for equipment operation.
