Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician for our local retail store. The role involves maintaining and repairing refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets, using commercial HVAC skills and tools, and handling work orders to support stores and associates.

Responsibilities include emergency maintenance response, issue diagnosis, safety training, and compliance with OSHA/EPA guidelines.

Qualifications

2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration experience.
EPA Type I/Type II or Universal Certification for refrigerant handling.
Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record.
18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and tools.
Use the work order management system to receive repair Work Orders and document repair activities.
Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations per Walmart safety policies.
Lift up to 75 pounds and climb ladders, working at heights frequently.
