Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to maintain and repair refrigeration systems at our Oxnard, CA stores. The role supports store facilities, using commercial HVAC skills and a range of hand and power tools, with emphasis on safety and reliability.

Qualifications include 2 years in commercial HVAC/R maintenance, EPA Type I/II or universal certification, a clean driving record, and a HS diploma or equivalent. A strong teamwork mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration experience.
• EPA Type I/Type II or Universal certification for refrigerant handling.
• Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and tools.
• Process work orders to support Stores and Store associates and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations per Walmart safety policies.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights as needed.
