Job summary

Walmart Inc. is seeking a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support and oversee repair of refrigeration and HVAC equipment across Walmart stores.

You’ll work with commercial HVAC/R tools, manage work orders, and respond to emergencies while maintaining safety and compliance. The role requires 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance, EPA Type I/II or Universal certification, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass MVR.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using hand tools, digital tools and other equipment.
• Receive repair Work Orders and document repair activities via the work order system.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Comply with OSHA and EPA regulations and Walmart safety policies.
