Job summary

Walmart stores are seeking a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to maintain and repair Walmart facility refrigeration and HVAC equipment. You’ll use commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, power tools, and work orders to support stores and respond to emergencies.

Qualified candidates have at least 2 years in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance, EPA Type I/II or Universal certification, and a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal Certification for Refrigerant handling.
• Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and tools.
• Utilize the work order system to receive repair Work Orders and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA guidelines per Walmart safety policy and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, and work at heights frequently.
