Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Seattle, WA, is seeking a Hardware Development Power Engineer to design, debug, and validate power systems for AWS infrastructure. You will own end-to-end development and collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams to solve challenging problems.

The role requires a Bachelor's in electrical engineering, hands-on experience with power electronics, and proficiency with lab equipment and automation testing.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with hardware lab equipment.
• Experience in automation testing.
• 2+ years of electrical engineering experience specifically in power electronics.
• 2+ years of experience designing, testing, and debugging power electronics such as AC/DC, DC/DC and DC/AC power conversion, switching power supplies, driver circuits.

Responsabilidades

• Design, debug and validation of power systems including, but not limited to, battery management systems, Power supplies, AC/DC, DC/AC converters, Automatic transfer switches and BMC controllers.
• Own the product’s end to end development cycle and collaborate with hardware, firmware and software teams on troubleshootings.
• Design automation via test scripts and applications, write test reports, perform board level testing and functional verification of power sub-systems.
