Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a Rack Integration Operations Engineer to act as a quality gatekeeper for hardware build programs and partner with contract manufacturers.

You will ensure BOM accuracy, track materials, and drive efficiency with AI-powered automation across build workflows. Strong cross-functional collaboration across engineering, procurement, and supply chain is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience reading and validating BOMs and coordinating with hardware design and contract manufacturing teams.
• Familiarity with hardware BOM validation, quality tracking, and schedule management a plus.
• Comfort using AI tools to automate workflows and surface insights.

Responsibilities

• Engineering & Quality Review: review BOMs prior to release and identify substitutions or blockers.
• Bridge Engineering & Production: work with hardware design engineers on DCRs and BOM discrepancies.
• Maintain Technical Quality Standards: assess rack-level power, networking, server, and firmware against specs.
• Materials & Logistics Operations: support demand forecasting and align partner capacity with lead times.
• Coordinate Supply Chain Logistics: oversee inbound/outbound logistics between partners and Cloudflare sites.
• Partner & Program Management: manage external hardware partners on build progress, scheduling, and issues.
• Track SLAs & Quality Metrics: contribute to vendor scorecards and root-cause analyses.
• Maintain Program Visibility: track build cycles in Jira and lead status check-ins.
