Job summary

Cloudflare in Austin, Texas is seeking a Rack Integration Operations Engineer to ensure BOM accuracy, align hardware builds with design specs, and drive efficient supplier collaborations across its global infra.

You will partner with Infrastructure Engineering and Strategy, implement AI-enabled automations, track supplier performance in Jira, and help scale our hardware program while maintaining quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Vendor and manufacturing management experience, including BOM validation and schedule management.
• Ability to evaluate rack-level technical specs to ensure manufacturing compliance.
• Hands-on experience managing operational workflows in Jira with KPI/SLA tracking.
• Applied AI tools or LLMs to automate workflows, improve reporting, or data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Engineering & Quality Review: validate BOMs and identify substitutions or blockers.
• Bridge Engineering & Production: work with design engineers to resolve DCRs and BOM discrepancies.
• Maintain Technical Quality Standards: evaluate rack-level power, networking, server, and firmware against specifications.
• Materials & Logistics Operations: contribute to demand forecasting and oversee inbound/outbound logistics.
• Partner & Program Management: coordinate with external hardware partners on build progress and issues.
• AI Innovation & Process Automation: build lightweight automation scripts and AI-driven tooling.
