Job summary

Goshen Engineering is seeking a hands-on Rack Assembly Supervisor to directly supervise the assigned Rack Assembly team within Production and support safe, efficient, and quality-focused assembly of electrical equipment and systems.

Reporting to the Production Manager, this role leads Electrical Assembly Technician I-III and Leads, coordinating daily staffing, monitoring production progress, and ensuring timely delivery of scheduled work while promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in manufacturing, electrical assembly, or related production environment.
• Able to read blueprints and use measuring tools and power/hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise and coordinate the Rack Assembly team and designated Leads.
• Plan daily rack assembly work, staffing, and priorities based on production schedules and materials.
• Monitor workmanship, fit, alignment, quality, and schedule performance; address delays or bottlenecks.
• Ensure routine quality checks are performed and documented for assembled equipment.
• Provide day-to-day direction, coaching, training, and performance feedback to staff.
