Job summary

Brooks Running seeks a senior Footwear Innovation Developer II – Racing Footwear in Seattle. You will lead cross-functional teams from concept through commercialization, delivering high-performance racing footwear for Brooks athletes and partners.

Your deep knowledge of outsole/midsole, 2D/3D patterning, materials, and costing will shape next-generation product. You will partner with Design, Asia Development, PLM, and Marketing to meet aggressive timelines, test rigorously, and push the

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Biomechanics, Engineering, Kinesiology, Design or related technical field.
5+ years leading high-performance running footwear projects; track & field spikes/road racing shoes experience.
Expertise in running footwear product development, process, cost, and manufacturing from concept to race day.
Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts across departments.

Responsibilities

Lead multiple New Upper, New Tooling racing footwear projects from brief to factory confirmation.
Deliver Brooks Fit, Feel, Ride principles through prototypes and testing.
Collaborate with Sports Marketing and athletes to align product development with enterprise needs.
Coordinate with WFSGI and World Athletics to ensure compliance and timely development.
Identify gaps in technology and drive innovative projects to commercialization.
Guide design teams to ensure manufacturability, cost, and quality targets.
