Job summary

Brooks is seeking a Footwear Innovation Developer II – Racing Footwear in Seattle. You will work with a cross-functional team from insights to commercialization to deliver top racing footwear for Brooks athletes and runners of all levels.

Your hands-on expertise spans outsole/midsole 2D/3D, patterning, materials, and cost while aligning with athlete needs. You will lead multiple projects, craft innovative solutions, and collaborate across Design, Asia Development, Marketing, and Costing teams to

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Biomechanics, Engineering, Kinesiology, Desing or related technical field.
5+ years leading high performance, technical running footwear projects.
Experience with track & field spikes and road racing shoes.

Responsibilities

Lead multiple New Upper, New Tooling racing footwear projects from brief to production.
Deliver on Fit, Feel, Ride principles and prototype excellence.
Collaborate with Sports Marketing and athletes to align timing with enterprise needs.
Manage development sample and production approval with World Athletics and WFSGI.
Identify gaps, lead new innovation projects, and transfer learnings across teams.
Guide Design Asia Development and PLM to ensure manufacturability and cost targets.
