Job summary

Ford Racing is seeking a Chassis Systems Engineer to analyze and integrate chassis components to meet vehicle-level performance targets. You will serve as the SPOC for suspension hardpoints and ensure CAE models and test outputs align with program requirements.

You will partner with D&R, Vehicle Engineering, and cross-functional teams to set targets, maintain health charts, and support development milestones across Ford Racing production vehicles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering required.
• Experience with ADAMS vehicle dynamics CAE modeling software required.
• Strong knowledge of chassis systems interfacing with other vehicle systems required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Single Point of Contact for chassis design issues; ensure compatibility between chassis components.
• Coordinate durability vehicle prep and testing; lead problem solving for chassis components.
• Set targets for ride height and alignment; evaluate status at vehicle builds.
• Interface daily with a global team of D&R engineers, vehicle attribute teams, program management, suppliers and manufacturing.
• Support testing, prototype, launch builds and ongoing production of Ford Racing vehicles.
