Job summary

Ford Racing Chassis Team seeks an independent and passionate Chassis engineer to lead chassis system integration for an off-road vehicle program. You will drive system-level design, manage attributes and supplier requirements, and coordinate with internal/external teams to deliver a complete chassis solution.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Engineering, 4+ years in chassis engineering, and strong CAD skills. This role offers growth in a world‑class racing environment with extensive collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• 4+ years of chassis engineering experience including delivery of at least one completed program.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Experience with CAD and visualization tools.
• Knowledge of GPDS and program delivery processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead system level design integration of chassis components for Ford Racing.
• Manage vehicle attribute, VO requirements, supplier manufacturing requirements, and commodity compatibility.
• Collaborate with D&R teams to stay current on component design progression.
• Lead internal/external resources to deliver programs.
• Ensure conformance to Ford Racing DNA and regulatory requirements.
• Develop innovative racing vehicle solutions including design, CAE analysis and testing.
• Support issue resolution and design changes during prototype and launch builds.
• Interface with Core Chassis Organization and support production and quality efforts.
