Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Chassis Engineer for Ford Racing in the United States. You will lead design, release, and delivery of chassis components, manage QCWFT to meet GPDS milestones, and coordinate with Purchasing to source materials.

The role requires CAD proficiency (Teamcenter, Vis Mockup, 3Dx, CATIA) and 2+ years of chassis engineering experience, with strong organizational and communication skills. This is a hybrid position onsite most days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• 2+ years in chassis engineering delivering at least one program.
• Strong CAD experience and familiarity with Teamcenter and CATIA.
• Solid communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, release, and delivery of Chassis components for Ford Racing.
• Manage QCWFT to support GPDS milestones.
• Source commodities with Purchasing.
• Lead program delivery through milestones.
• Coordinate with internal/external resources to deliver programs.
• Ensure conformance to Ford Racing DNA and regulations.
• Develop innovative Racing solutions including CAE and testing.
• Support issue resolution and design changes during builds.
• Maintain collaboration with Core Chassis Organization.
• Support production and quality efforts.
• Support cost optimization initiatives.
