Job summary

Martinsville Speedway in Virginia is seeking a maintenance worker to keep the venue’s buildings and grounds in top condition. You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on facilities and mechanical equipment, and assist with general cleaning and setup for events.

Qualifications

• Microsoft Office knowledge preferred (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED acceptable.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to pass a driving record check.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive building maintenance.
• Perform routine plumbing repairs (unclog toilets/sinks, fix leaks).
• Perform routine electrical repairs (change bulbs, fixtures, ballast).
• Move and set up furniture and equipment for meetings and events.
• Participate in general cleaning, painting and repair work.
• Other duties as assigned.
