Job summary

Ford Racing, a part of Ford Motor Company, seeks a Vehicle Integration Engineer to lead end-to-end vehicle development, testing, and validation for future Ford Racing products. You will translate customer insights into vehicle-level requirements and drive cross-functional teams through milestones and design gates.

You will oversee testing lifecycles, DV efficiency, and final validation of emotive driving experiences, collaborating with multiple departments to deliver segment-defining performance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • 2–5+ years in Vehicle Engineering or related automotive role.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with vehicle testing and validation, incl. 'Fit for Test' status.
  • Experience managing engineering milestones and GPDS documentation.
  • Strong communication for executive and multi-department audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead DCV development and launch activities for Ford Racing programs, ensuring gateways and milestones are met with high quality.
  • Translate customer insights into balanced vehicle-level requirements and cascade to system-level targets.
  • Oversee track/test vehicle lifecycles and 'Fit for Test' certification, optimizing DV processes.
  • Direct Track and Off-Road Durability testing with resource planning, logistics and safety.
  • Lead final validation of vehicle emotive experiences for external representation.
