Job summary

Part-time work with varied shifts, outdoors in all weather, requires the ability to lift and handle race gear and reliable transportation. USSSA Alpine Official credentials are preferred, and you must be available weekends and holidays.

Description

The Race Crew Tech is responsible for race equipment and race building organization as directed by the Race Manager or Snowsports Manager. She/he will set courses as needed for outside race practices as well as assisting with race day needs. She/he will set up and run timing equipment when necessary. Reports to the Race Manager and the Managerof Snowsports.

Position Requirements

Qualifications:

Understands how to properly use race timing equipment or willing to learn;

Has strong course setting skills or willing to learn

Special Qualifications:

Able to bend and ski with up to 50lbs of gates and other race related equipment;

Must be able to work for extended periods outside in all weather conditions;

Must work weekends and holidays;

Must own appropriate ski/snowboard gear;

Must have reliable transportation for circumstances of inclement weather;

USSSA Alpine Official credentials

TRAINING:

Safesport online modules;

Coaching fundamentals online modules;

Pre-season online meeting for mountain policies and procedures;

Training on how to use Mohawk race equipment, hill space, course setting

Wage Range $17.50-$22
