Job summary

Life Enriching Communities is hiring a Resident Aide at Wesley Glen in Columbus, OH. This full-time position supports residents in memory care or skilled nursing, delivering compassionate daily care and promoting independence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a continuing care retirement community or hospital setting preferred.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility/ambulation).
• Answering resident call lights promptly and courteously.
• Promoting resident dignity, individuality, and rights while encouraging independence.
• Participating in shift reports and maintaining up-to-date resident records.
• Supporting meal service by managing menu choice tickets and helping serve meals.
• Laundering personal items for residents.
• Assisting with admissions, transfers, and discharges as directed.
• Following infection control and safety procedures diligently.
• Collaborating with nursing staff and contributing to a calm, respectful, and team-oriented work environment.
