Job summary

Life Enriching Communities in Columbus, OH is seeking a compassionate Resident Aide for the Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) to join our Memory Care and Skilled Nursing units. You will provide daily hands-on support and help residents maintain independence with dignity and respect.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma (or equivalent), background in care settings, and strong customer service and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a continuing care retirement community or hospital setting preferred.
• Strong background in customer service and interpersonal communication.
• Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility).
• Answer resident call lights promptly and courteously.
• Promote resident dignity, independence and rights.
• Participate in shift reports and maintain resident records.
• Support meal service by helping with menu choices and serving meals.
• Launder personal items for residents.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges as directed.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures diligently.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to maintain a calm, team-oriented environment.

• Following infection control and safety procedures diligently
• Collaborating with nursing staff and contributing to a calm, respectful, and team-oriented work environment

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
