Job summary

Life Enriching Communities in Columbus, OH is seeking a part-time Home Services Assistant to support residents at Wesley Glen (5155 N High St). The role offers morning shifts from 7:00am to 11:00am, Monday through Friday, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in residents’ daily lives.

You will assist with activities of daily living, meals, oxygen equipment, light housekeeping, errands, and other duties to ensure a safe, comfortable home for residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a Home Services position preferred.
• Good computer skills, including use of email and data entry.
• Must possess a customer service background and orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living. (Examples: dressing, grooming, ambulation, toileting, transfers, turning/positioning, exercise support, medication reminders)
• Assist with or prepare meals and snacks, adhering to dietary recommendations
• Assist with oxygen equipment
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe, clean environment (beds, dishes, laundering)
• Shop and run errands for clients
• Other duties, as assigned by Home Services Coordinator.

You are a compassionate and dependable Home Services Assistant who is committed to supporting residents in their daily routines. You respond quickly to needs, foster meaningful interactions, and bring compassion and professionalism to every interaction in our communities.

• Assist with oxygen equipment
• Perform light housekeeping activities to maintain a safe and clean environment. (Examples of these include making and changing beds, washing dishes, laundering clients’ belongings, etc.)
• Shop and run errands for clients.
• Other duties, as assigned by Home Services Coordinator.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in a Home Services position, preferred
• Good computer skills, including use of email and data entry
