Job summary

Life Enriching Communities is seeking a dedicated Resident Aide to support residents in our Memory Care or Skilled Nursing Unit. The role emphasizes compassion, independence, and high-quality daily care for seniors in a warm, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a care setting or customer-facing role preferred.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
• Respond promptly to call lights and provide courteous care.
• Support residents’ dignity and independence while promoting safety.
• Maintain accurate resident records and participate in shift handoffs.

Responsibilities

As a Resident Aide, you will be a critical member of our care team, working in our Memory Care or Skilled Nursing Unit. You’ll provide hands‑on daily support and compassionate care to residents to promote their independence and well‑being. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility/ambulation)
• Answering resident call lights promptly and courteously
• Promoting resident dignity, individuality, and rights while encouraging independence
• Participating in shift reports and maintaining up-to-date resident records
• Supporting meal service by managing menu choice tickets and helping serve meals
• Laundering personal items for residents
• Assisting with admissions, transfers, and discharges as directed
• Following infection control and safety procedures diligently
• Collaborating with nursing staff and contributing to a calm, respectful, and team-oriented work environment

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience in a continuing care retirement community or hospital setting preferred
• Strong background in customer service and interpersonal communication
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
