Job summary

Stryker in California is offering an RA/QA Quality Assurance intern position. You will gain hands-on experience supporting quality processes that help ensure our products meet internal standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations while collaborating with cross-functional partners.

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in a related field with a 3.0 GPA or higher, you must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and committed to a degree-seeking program.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field; must remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the internship.
• Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above (verified at time of hire).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship now or in the future.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate and build relationships.
• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Support Quality Management System activities to help maintain compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and internal procedures.
• Assist with Nonconformance reporting by helping investigate quality issues, document findings, and support timely resolution.
• Contribute to Corrective and Preventive Action activities by supporting root cause analysis, action planning, and effectiveness checks.
• Partner with cross-functional teams such as Manufacturing, Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, Supplier Quality, and Operations to support quality initiatives.
• Review and organize quality documentation, records, and process information to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with procedural requirements.
• Support continuous improvement projects focused on strengthening quality processes, reducing risk, and improving efficiency.
• Gain exposure to audits, quality metrics, and compliance activities that help ensure products and processes meet Stryker’s high standards.
