Job summary

Versant Media in Orlando seeks a Vice President, Global Record to Report to lead the global R2R function and shape the future-state accounting operations model for a newly independent media company.

This executive will oversee end-to-end R2R, governance, and transformation initiatives, including ERP modernization and centralization, partnering with Controllership, Finance, Risk, and Technology to deliver operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 15+ years in controllership or R2R in a global environment.
• Experience managing third-party BPO and offshore teams.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global Record to Report function and set strategic direction for R2R operations.
• Own future-state R2R operating model with centralized accounting and outsourced delivery.
• Drive governance, processes, and service levels across R2R teams and providers.
• Oversee end-to-end R2R: journal entries, reconciliations, close, and reporting.
• Ensure SOX compliance, control documentation, and audit readiness.
• Lead R2R transformation including ERP modernization, automation, and centralization.
