Job summary

Versant Media in Orlando seeks a Vice President, Global Record to Report to lead the R2R function and shape the future-state accounting operations for a newly independent public media company.

You will drive standardization, governance, and service levels across onshore/offshore teams, oversee SOX controls, ERP modernization, and automation initiatives, and partner with Controllership, Finance, and Technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 15+ years in controllership, accounting operations, or R2R.
• Experience leading month-/quarter-/year-end closes.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX controls.
• Experience managing third-party RPO/BPO or offshore teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global R2R function and set strategic direction.
• Own the future-state R2R operating model and centralized accounting.
• Drive governance, KPI/SLAs, and service delivery across teams.
• Oversee SOX controls and close governance with audits.
• Partner with Controllership, Finance, Treasury, and Tech to enable ERP modernization.
