Job summary

Universal Scientific Industrial Co., Ltd. in Milpitas, CA is seeking a detail-oriented Production Supervisor to enhance production efficiency and streamline workflows on a 100% onsite basis.

You will analyze processes, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support continuous improvement while ensuring quality and safety standards. You will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate manpower and equipment, and monitor metrics to meet customer requirements and improve profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate the utilization of manpower and equipment.
• Focus on PCBA front end process included SMT, 2ND OP and conformal coating.
• Organize and direct staff and plan and progress all day-to-day production activities to meet current customer requirements and resolve any production schedule issues.
• Monitor work area to ensure productivity, quality, process, and safety standards are being followed.
• Track and report on production, ship schedules, work-in process, labor and product movement.
• Liaise with other departments and customers to recommend changes that will increase production efficiencies, reduce cost, and increase profitability.
• Conduct data analysis, reviews production reports, and prepares manufacturing metrics report.
• Maintain the data integrity in the manufacturing metrics database.
• Resolve day-to-day issues, including terminations, counseling, suspensions, timecard approval, manpower training, and conflict resolution.

Education/Qualification
