Job summary

Everest Group is seeking a Financial and Specialty Lines Claims professional for NYC or Warren, NJ. These are hybrid positions, combining in-office and remote work across three days in the office and two days remote.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in insurance claims, M&A, law firm, public accounting or advisory.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; analytical and organizational strengths.
• Ability to evaluate coverage and think strategically; experience with adjuster licenses.

Responsibilities

• Lead and resolve complex R&W and Private Equity claims with autonomy and judgment.
• Direct and manage outside counsel; oversee strategy, budgets, and execution.
• Set and manage case reserves; prepare Large Claim Reports for leadership.
• Collaborate with Underwriting on policy drafting, deal trends, and risk insights.
• Engage clients, brokers, reinsurers; travel 0–25% as needed.
