Everest Insurance Company seeks a Director of Private Equity & Transactional Claims to lead high‑level R&W and PE claims in a hybrid NYC/NJ role. You will shape strategy, manage complex matters end‑to‑end, and influence negotiation and client experience across Legal, Reinsurance, and Executive teams.

You will oversee complex claims, guide outside counsel, set reserves, and partner with Underwriting to inform pricing and policy drafting.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 5 years in private equity and transactional liability claims.
• J.D. (currently licensed) or experience practicing law preferred.
• Currently holds or can readily obtain all required adjuster licenses.
• Willingness to travel 0–25% depending on business needs.
• Knowledge of insurance industry, claims, and the insurance legal/regulatory environment.

• Lead and resolve complex R&W and Private Equity claims with autonomy and judgement.
• Direct and manage outside counsel with alignment on strategy, budgets, and execution.
• Set and manage case reserves with discipline and accuracy; prepare large claim reports for senior leadership.
• Collaborate with Underwriting on policy drafting, deal trends, and risk insights; identify claims trends.
