Everest Reinsurance Company in New York City or Warren, NJ seeks a Senior Cyber/E&O Facultative Underwriter to lead profitable cyber and professional liability decisions in a hybrid NYC/Warren NJ office.

You will analyze new business for risk profitability, underwrite renewals, and build strong relationships with ceding companies and brokers while collaborating across Claims and Accounting to support company objectives; travel as needed.

Qualificações

• BA/BS degree; advanced degree a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of Professional Liability underwriting experience.
• Strong analytical and computer skills with data-driven decision making.
• Excellent oral and written communication; solid negotiation ability.
• In-depth knowledge of US insurance and reinsurance markets.
• Ability to maintain relations with brokers and ceding company underwriters.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze new business for risk profitability based on underwriting data.
• Underwrite renewal business following current approach and philosophy.
• Develop and maintain relationships with ceding company underwriters and brokers.
• Assist in production and marketing efforts; collaborate with claims and accounting.
• Communicate competitive market factors to underwriting leadership; travel as needed.
• Work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
