Job summary

Everest Insurance Company seeks a dynamic Director of Private Equity & Transactional Claims in a hybrid role based in New York City or Warren, NJ. Oversee high-profile R&W and PE claims, lead negotiations, and influence senior leadership decisions across Legal, Reinsurance, and the business.

Emphasizes strategic advisory, disciplined reserves, and client engagement. The role offers autonomy, leadership, and cross-functional impact in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment, with 3 in-office days

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of private equity and transactional liability claims experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills; negotiation and investigation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to evaluate coverage with diverse loss scenarios and think strategically.
• Knowledge of litigation, arbitration, and trial processes.
• Currently holds or can obtain all required adjuster licenses.

Responsibilities

• Lead and resolve sophisticated R&W and Private Equity claims with autonomy.
• Direct and manage outside counsel with alignment on strategy, budgets, and execution.
• Set and manage case reserves with discipline and accuracy; prepare Large Claim Reports.
