XP Power in San Jose, CA seeks a Debug Test Technician to troubleshoot and repair power supply assemblies from board level to component level. You will support NPI builds, handle RMA scenarios, and ensure repair quality before rejoining production.

This is a hands-on, on-site role aligned with a high‑voltage, safety‑minded lab and production floor. You will work closely with Test, Manufacturing, Design, Quality and Production Engineering, performing rework to IPC workmanship standards and

Qualifikationen

• 2–5 years of hands-on TLA & PCBA debug experience in electronics manufacturing.
• Strong reading of schematics, BOMs, and assembly drawings.
• Solid understanding of PFC, flyback/forward, and protection circuits.
• Proficient with oscilloscopes and DMMs; capable of fine-pitch rework.
• Experience with IPC-A-610 and safe handling of high-voltage assemblies.

Aufgaben

• Debug and repair power supply assemblies from top-level to component level.
• Diagnose failures in PFC stages, switching, magnetics, and regulation loops.
• Turn around boards to keep WIP moving and improve first-pass yield.
• Verify repaired units via retest and ensure spec conformance before line return.
• Support NPI builds, provide feedback on test points and repairability.
• Document failures and repairs; contribute to CAPA investigations.
