Job Role – Who We Want

Thintronics is looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Technician to join our R&D team. This role focuses on sample preparation and/or physical characterization of samples, including thermal, mechanical, adhesive, and dielectric property measurements. In this position, you will help deepen our understanding of the core Thintronics technology and develop our product pipeline.

• As part of a start-up team, you will wear many hats. We are looking for someone with a “can-do” attitude, who is excited about the opportunity to explore/develop a broad range of practical skills and loves hands-on work in the lab. Roles and responsibilities are collaborative and may evolve based on the needs of our quickly growing company as well as your skillset/interests.

Minimum Qualifications:

• B.S. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related discipline
• Must be able to move up to 25 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1–5 years of relevant industry/start-up experience
• Experience with microscopy
• Experience operating analytical instruments including TGA, DMA, TMA, DSC, rheometer, viscometer, FTIR, laser confocal microscope (Keyence), Instron/Zwick universal testing systems, peel testers
• Rigorous attention to detail and recordkeeping
• Strong analytical, organizational, teamwork, and time management skills
• Able to juggle multiple tasks efficiently
• Preference will go to local candidates

Level of Technician (I, II, III, Senior, etc.) will depend on overall qualifications and years of experience.
