Job summary

The R&D Engineering group at Haartz is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated R&D Technician, Level 2, to join our team in Acton, MA. This full-time on-site role runs Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 3:30pm, with potential evenings and overtime paid after 8 hours.

You will support engineers, operate processing equipment, and help evaluate data for new coatings products. Successful candidates should be self-motivated, have strong problem-solving skills, and communicate effectively with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with one-year related experience and training.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in a technical role.
• Higher education is a plus.
• Experience working in Manufacturing or similar industry strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a wide variety of R&D processing equipment.
• Prepare experimental samples and test samples for coatings trials.
• Evaluate data to determine quality and reliability of new products.
• Represent Haartz with customers and suppliers.
• Lead by example in adherence to quality systems and CARES values.
