Job summary

Vantive is a vital organ therapy company on a mission to extend lives and expand possibilities for patients and care teams everywhere. The role involves performing mechanical testing and material characterization tasks, maintaining lab operations, and contributing to protocol development.

You will bring at least 2+ years in medical devices, knowledge of FDA Design Controls and ISO 13485, and strong communication skills as part of a global team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in medical devices.
• Knowledge of FDA Design Controls and ISO 13485.
• Experience with disposables R&D or manufacturing.
• Plastics processing with extrusion, injection molding, solvent bonding, RF welding.
• Excellent English communication.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with GMP/GLP.
• Ability to use computers for word processing and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Perform research and development tasks in mechanical testing and material characterization per procedures.
• Analyze data and interpret results.
• Maintain lab equipment and inventory.
• Assist in writing reports and protocols; maintain records of experiments.
• Coordinate calibration and troubleshoot equipment.
• Build engineering prototypes.
• Work with suppliers to obtain samples and products.
• Use measurement equipment to complete product inspections.
